Instructions
Prepare the Chicken
Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
If the chicken breasts are thick, slice them in half horizontally or gently pound them with a meat mallet to ensure even cooking.
Make the Coating
In a bowl, mix sour cream, Italian seasoning, paprika, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and a pinch of salt.
In another bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers and breadcrumbs.
Coat the Chicken
Dip each chicken breast into the sour cream mixture, ensuring it is fully coated.
After adding the sour cream mixture to the chicken, let the chicken sit in the mixture for about 20 minutes.
Press the coated chicken into the cracker mixture, covering all sides evenly.
Cook the Chicken
Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the coated chicken and cook for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and tent loosely with foil.
Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter over low heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce, whisking until smooth.
Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
Stir in the chopped parsley and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
Combine & Enjoy
Serve the chicken over pasta, rice, or your preferred side.
Spoon the creamy sauce over the chicken and garnish with extra parsley and Parmesan.
