Instructions

Butter Mixture

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Soften 2 tbsp butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
  • Add 2 tsp garlic powder, 2 tsp Italian seasoning, and 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese to the melted butter.
  • Whisk together until well blended.

Shred Your Cheese

  • Shred 16 oz of fresh mozzarella cheese until it’s ready to be sprinkled over the buns.

Butter Your Buns

  • Brush the butter mixture onto the hot dog buns, covering as much as possible.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese onto the buttered buns.
  • Place the prepared buns on a baking sheet or in an air fryer.

Bake Buns

  • Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.
